THE WORLD’S ONLY TRUE JETPACK: JETPACK AVIATION PARTNERS WITH AIRWOLF 3D TO ACCELERATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORLD’S ONLY TRUE JETPACK

JetPack Aviation has been secretly working and perfecting the Jetpack for over 25 years. During this time they’ve tested all manner of propulsion systems including pulse jets, micro turbines, ducted fans, pressure jets and only recently has turbine technology improved to the point that JetPack Aviation has been able to build a reliable and stable craft, the JB-9 JetPack.

Airwolf 3D and JetPack Aviation engineers will display and demonstrate 3D printed JetPack components at CES 2016JetPack Aviation and Airwolf 3D believe that a Jetpack should be just that – a jet turbine powered backpack that is capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), is extremely light and small and can easily be carried around by the pilot. It should be powerful enough to lift the pilot quickly to thousands of feet above the ground but small enough to fit into the trunk of a car. Meet the JB-9 JetPack.

JetPack Aviation has invested vast amounts of manpower to stress modelling the engine mounts, airframe and with airflow analysis for engine positioning and inlet cowling design.

“Airwolf 3D’s latest AXIOM 3D printer was the key enabling technology to allow us to rapidly prototype our new JetPack fuel tank prior to committing to actual tooling.”

Nelson Tyler, Designer at JetPack Aviation
