2015 RAPID 3D Print Exposition
SME will host the 2015 RAPID exposition at the Long Beach Exhibition Center from May 18th through the 21st. Come and chat with one of our friendly representatives at Booth 859 and stick around for a demonstration of our amazing 3D printers. The event promises to be the preeminent event in the 3D printing, scanning, and additive manufacturing industries. Experts from all related fields will be in attendance to demonstrate technological advances, new products, and applications for business and education. Special pricing will be available to qualifying universities, research facilities, and start-ups. Innovation Connections will be a highlighted show feature, which is expected to attract a diverse group of innovation seekers and investors.
There will also be a Contemporary Art Gallery on display that will highlight the creativity and productive capacity that 3D printing, 3D imaging, and digital sculpture allows. Artists who are familiar with design software and additive manufacturing processes have the opportunity to display their work in the gallery, but act quickly because space is limited!
Each year, RAPID holds a Puzzle Challenge which helps attendees explore different additive manufacturing technologies and materials presented on the show floor. This year’s puzzle will feature six collectible pieces that can be assembled into a dolphin when the collection is complete.
As an added bonus, RAPID patrons will have the opportunity to check out two other events co-located at the Long Beach Exhibition Center with their free hall pass: the Space Tech Expo, and the Aerospace Electrical Systems Expo.
The SME has negotiated discounted room rates at RAPID’s host hotel, the Hyatt Regency of Long Beach. If you reserve a room with the Hyatt Regency by April 27th, 2015 you will receive a discounted rate of $199 per night. To find out more about this offer, click here.
