The 14th annual Pacific Design and Manufacturing expo is fast approaching! This year the event will be hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center from February 10th through the 12th and it promises to be jam-packed with more than 300 exhibiting companies in the design, manufacturing, and process solutions fields. Attendees of the expo will have access to dozens of industry experts and cutting edge technology relating to 3D printing, design, manufacturing, prototyping, and more.

Visitors may attend the expo’s numerous conference sessions covering diverse topics such as:

Airwolf 3D Printed Outfit DesignersThursday, February 12th, 2015 at 10 AM.  Airwolf 3D will present informative demonstrations at the West Center Stage (#455) highlighting many of the uses for the 30+ materials that can be printed with an Airwolf 3D printer.  Come and see Sandy the Materials Girl on Thursday Morning at the Center Stage (#455).  Some of the materials to be covered include: TPU, iglidur, TPE, Nylon, and PCTPE to name a few.

Airwolf 3D’s Founder and Chairman set to speak on Wednesday, February 11th, at the Pacific Design and Manufacturing Expo

Airwolf 3D’s Founder and Chairman, Erick Wolf will be speaking at the upcoming Pacific Design and Manufacturing expo on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015.

At 1:00 – 1:45 Erick will be participating in a panel discussion entitled, “Exploring New Materials in 3D Printing and their Applications for Design and Manufacturing.” This discussion will cover several topics related to 3D printed materials. Some topics of discussion will include material characteristics, projected availability, and the relevance/impact of materials innovation to existing 3D stakeholders.

From 3:10 pm to 3:35 pm Erick will contribute to the discussion entitled, “3D Scanning and Overcoming the Challenges of Reverse Engineering in 3D printing.” This discussion will present topics related to innovations in optical 3D scanning technology, how 3D laser scanners can enhance the usability of 3D printers, and the future of 3D scanning and design tools. Additionally, Erick and others will participate in a case study on improving the accuracy of reverse engineering.
