Airwolf 3D staff is on location at the Cisco Building in Irvine California educating teachers in 3D Printing Classes!
Airwolf 3D staff began a 3 day workshop to train teachers in advanced 3D printing concepts. This event is an exciting collaboration between the Orange County Department of Education CENTRAL ORANGE COUNTY CTE Partnership (CTEp) and VitalLink of Orange County.
Some of these teachers had previously participated in the Build Day, during which time they built their own 3D printers and then took back to the classroom. Their students where then posed the following challenge, “Design and build or significant re-purpose a product that will solve a problem, need or want.” The participating schools included middle schools, high schools and community colleges. The students designed and 3D printed many new innovative products and presented these at the OC Maker Challenge. The winners received monetary prizes and awards.
Today the teachers are back to learn more concepts through our Airwolf 3D printing classes. The 20 Teachers attending this event are learning to create an object and to effectively use their 3D printers in the classroom.
