Yes, we did it!  Talented Mike Stamets took advantage of the large print volume on his AW3D XL printer and made a custom iPad case.

Below are some photos to showcase his feat.  It is printed in red, black and white ABS.  It is a nice snap fit case that easily snaps together to protect your iPad.  Click here to learn more about this large 3d printer.  The 8″ x 12″ heated print bed makes it possible to print large flat ABS parts.

Back of the case has a black and red insert.  The Airwolf 3D logo is 3D printed in red ABS and then inserted into a back plate made with black ABS.  Mike Stamets signature is an added touch.

Sides of the case are rounded and feel ergonomically conformable to hold.  The sides are carefully designed to leave openings for access to power button, volume button camera lens and other iPad features.
